Today, we head for Kibale National Park, famous for its diversity of primates. As you pass through magnificent landscapes, get ready for the adventure ahead. Lunch is provided en route. Tomorrow, you'll have the chance to meet some chimpanzees! In the late afternoon, settle into your lodge for dinner and overnight, and relax before this exciting encounter with our closest relatives in the animal kingdom.
Day 5: KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
Can you feel the excitement? Today, set off on a chimpanzee trek along a 3 to 5 km route, in small groups. Through the jungle, watch the monkeys frolic and squabble in the trees, captivating with their familiar gestures. In the afternoon, explore the Bigodi marshes on a two- to three-hour hike, where over 200 species of birds sing around you. Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to see a giant blue touraco, accompanied by multicolored butterflies. End the day with an invigorating dinner, reflecting on this incredible experience. Overnight at your lodge.
Day 6: KIBALE NATIONAL PARK - QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK (approx. 170 KM)
Today, you'll head for Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through the majestic Rwenzori mountain range, known as the "Mountains of the Moon". The park, rich in biodiversity, is marked by glacial meltwater and is home to Lakes George and Edward, populated by hippos. Stop for lunch at a lodge before heading for the Kazinga Canal, a natural waterway between the two lakes. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat tour where you'll observe hippos, water birds and elephants on the banks. Don't miss the well-camouflaged crocodiles! Afterwards, visit the Katara women's group, which works to reduce conflict between humans and wildlife. Dinner and overnight at your lodge in the park.
Day 7: QUEEN-ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK - BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK (approx. 220 KM)
After an invigorating breakfast, head for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. In the Ishasha sector, look out for tree lions, which often rest in fig trees while watching for antelopes. Continue on to the park, home to around 400 mountain gorillas, or almost 50 % of the world's population. The park is nicknamed the "impenetrable forest" because of its dense vegetation. End the day with dinner and overnight at your lodge in the heart of the park.
Day 8: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
The big moment has finally arrived! Today, set off to meet the mountain gorillas in the national park. After instructions at park headquarters, you'll venture out into the dense rainforest in small groups, in search of a habituated group. Listen for jungle noises and find the group's nest. There, you can observe the silverback, the dominant male, from a few meters away. After an hour or so of observation, you'll return to your lodge. In the afternoon, explore village life on a tour of Rushaga and Rubuguri, where you can discover local products such as honey and gin, and even taste the latter. Don't miss the bird observatory! Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 10: LAC MBURO NATIONAL PARK - ENTEBBE (approx. 250 KM)
