Detailed Itinerary
Days 1-2: MARRAKECH, the Pearl of the South Welcome and adventure briefing. Dive into the heart of Marrakech with our local guide: Medina, souks, palaces and the vibrant Djemaa el Fna Square, a captivating introduction to the Arab-Berber soul.
Day 3: HIGH ATLAS & IMILCHIL - Hidden Paths (353 km) Spectacular crossing of the Atlas Mountains in a Land Rover, exploring destinations off the beaten track. We reach Imilchil, an authentic Berber village, for a night of local immersion.
Day 4-7: DEEP SAHARA – Dunes, light and exchange (331 km on day 4, 369 km on day 5) Head south towards Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara. After a Berber dinner and a night at the foot of the dunes, head to M'Hamid for three days of in-depth desert exploration. On the agenda: magical sunrises, discovering the ‘city of gazelles’, hiking on the plateaus and majestic dunes of Erg-Chegaga. An escape for the mind and soul, in harmony with the Saharan people.
Day 8-9: DRÂA VALLEY & OUARZAZATE - Heritage and Oasis (275 Km D8) Drive up the Oued Draa, through fortified villages and lush oases, before arriving in Ouarzazate. Explore the city and its surroundings, then head for the Tineghir oasis and the impressive Todra Gorges. An authentic lunch option with a Berber family is available.
Day 10-11: RETURN TO MARRAKECH - UNESCO Wonders & Freedom (192 Km D10) Return to Marrakech via Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO Heritage Site) and the breathtaking panoramas of the High Atlas via the Tizi n-Tichka pass. Enjoy a free day in Marrakech for cultural discoveries or personal activities.
Day 12: MARRAKECH - Departure Breakfast, then transfer to the airport for your return flight.
